Notice
Folks, as part of my tiering down campaign, I'm afraid I'm going to have to shut down the Garage of DOOM. Once I've reached my required tier goal (hopefully before my tier payment in early July), I will no longer be able to support the prim requirements for the game space and associated monsters. Play it while you can, because the GoD will be gone on July 1.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and encouragement over the past few months. It's been fun.
Comments:
How many prims does the GoD use? Perhaps a new home can be provided.

The base garage and associated entry lobby is 183 prims. An allowance of about 40 more prims per player (max 4 players) should be allowed for the monsters (each one is 3 to 5 prims), so call that an addition 160 prims worst case. Add to that the base station (3 prims) and the radio changer (2 prims, optional), and it comes to about 348 prims. That's an approximate worst case, but there should be at least that many for peak operation.

The actual garage is 60 meters square, too. So the parcel would need to be at least 3600 square meters.

That being said, I'm not too certain about passing it on to a third party. It is very much in beta, and has a lot of issues. I don't know if I'd ever be able to fix it, and the code is a mess. A nice idea (and if you were offering, thanks!), but I don't know if it could be made to work.

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of providing land to you, but I can understand if you also were concerned with time commitments.

Well, thanks! I'll give it some serious thought, once things get settled a bit.

Perhaps you can release the code under GPL? Your garage of DOOM is just plain awesome beyond words, since it's smooth and playable, but still arcade-ish (verus the RPGs).
